Information

5/7/09 -

Today I presented a project for one of my classes, and for some reason, despite frantically coding the past several days to get it done, I felt like coding some more. Since my last update, I have had a few exciting events. First, I joined up with the Ohio Military Reserves. I am tasked as a Radio Operator for the 5th Brigade Headquarters Company. It has been a very good experience for me. I am proud to serve my state.

The second piece of excitement was that I found out I am going to be an uncle again! My sister is due in the middle of September. I can't wait to meet the new little one.

Since my semester is about over, the new design should be coming out in the next month or so. I have learned a lot since I implemented the current design, so I can't wait to see how it turns out. Check out the multimedia page to see a picture of me in uniform!

Just a quick update. I wanted to plug the website I have been working on. The company is Petry Power Systems, http://www.petrypowersystems.com. They are a fantastic company that is out to make the world's vehicles a little "greener."

1/25/09 -

After an almost 2 year hiatus, I am starting to get the Martial Arts bug again. I'm not sure if I'm going to compete again soon, but I do want to get back into practice and hopefully do some teaching again. I have started working out again in my apartment, and am already stronger than I have ever been. I can't wait to flex my muscles with the new sword that I ordered. I am expecting it to arrive somewhere in the middle of february, but I will have fun with my Sakaba that is arriving tomorrow.

I have also decided that it is time to redesign this site. We shall see how long that takes. I have a lot going on between (still) going to school, my regular job, and the side jobs I have designing and maintaining a few business websites. I still fit in my social life into all of this somehow too, so wish me luck. I look forward to seeing what this new year brings. I have a lot of positive karma that I'm hoping is about to come to fruition, so look out world, I'm coming! -Brett
