3/6/10 -I have taken a few minutes to post the Battalion newsletter that I was mentioned in. Check it out on my multimedia page!
After being enlisted for over a year now, I have learned a great deal. We were reorganized in Sept 09 as a Civilian Support and Sustainment Brigade. What this meant for me personally, was that I was no longer primarily coded as a radio operator in a Brigade HQ. My old unit was retired and I became an administrative specialist in the S4 section (Supply and Logistics) for the newly formed 1st Battalion. It has been a very interesting ride so far. The waters are beginnning to clam a little now that we are all getting comfortable in our new roles and it is really cool to see the things we can do with limited personnel and resources.
Keep checking back for more! Maybe I'll finally do that site renovation I've been threatening to do for like 2 or 3 years now!-Brett
