Quotes

"Sometimes we are so entrenched in our own lives, we forget that we are in fact alive. It is at these times that we need the little things to remind us. A book, a movie, a friend, or anything else to inspire emotion. Never forget that you are alive."
-Brett Adamik 3/22/04

"A teacher can stand no taller than when he reaches out his hand to help a fallen student.”
-Dr. Robert N. Braff Ph.D. AS/MA, Sokč

Pictures

More pictures will be added as I get them!

This is the OHMR 1BN Newsletter for FEB 2010. My picture isn't in there, but at least there is a positive mention of me!
This is me in uniform at the Woods King Armory in Warrensville, Hts., OH. I joined the Ohio Military Reserves in February, 2009.
This is the newspaper article on me that appeared in the March 29, 2007 edition of the Twinsburg Sun. I was very humbled to be interviewed and then portrayed as such a great athlete. Thanks to Lena Ina who wrote the article, and of course the Sun News, who employs her.
Here you can see me surrounded by 3 beautiful women. It was a rough picture to go through, but someone had to do it, and I'm glad it was me. I should also mention that it was Amanda's (The girl in red) birthday. We had cake, it was great.
This is a picture of Master Blum and I. Master Blum runs a great school in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Here are some pro photos of my kata at the 2006 World Karate Union Hall of Fame's Tournament. Photos were taken by UMOJA Communication Company.
This is the 2006 Arnold Martial Arts Festival Flyer. If you look at the handsome, yet evil looking gentleman with the sword, you'll notice he looks a lot like me, because it is me!

It was a long day of preparation before the 2004 US Belt Champs at the Kent State Rec Center. Not pictured are proud fathers of the girls, Andy Phythian - Photographer and Master Vic Marke - Freezing in my van.
This is me performing my kata at the 2004 Arnold Battle of Columbus, where I took the Silver. San-Ryu-Do brother Christopher Jannetta took the Bronze. This was one of the toughest divisions all weekend, as all competitiors were national and international champions. It was an honor to compete against such excellent Martial Artists.
The first picture of me in a gi taken back when I was 12
Here I am presenting my good friend and fellow Team San-Ryu-Do member Zara Phythian with one of my US Championship Belts that I took at the 2003 United States Belt Championships. Zara will lead Team Great Britain to a strong showing at the 2004 US Belt Championships in November.
